At Vycaran we believe that the greatest impact on a dog's wellbeing happens before they're even conceived. The second greatest takes place in those vital few months before a pup leaves for their new home!
 

As a result, we only breed Collies free of CEA, DM, and MDR1, with both parents being of sound body, construction, and mind. With each litter, we also strive to produce Collies that meet our breed standard, and will have the beauty and elegance that's inspired generations of enthusiasts.
 

All puppies are raised with our own bespoke socialisation and rearing programme. It’s very intensive for us as breeders, requiring hours of work each day on top of the usual puppy care, but we’ve gotten such fantastic results that it makes it all worth it – happy, healthy, bombproof puppies!
 

I have industry-recognised qualifications in dog genetics and reproduction, passing with a Distinction, and was awarded a Certificate of Excellence by the ADLC for my achievements. I’ve also passed my JCF Level 1 and part of my Level 2 judging exams, but am completely focussed on meeting my breeding goals before judging. I have studied under my mentor Angela Harvey of Wicani Collies for almost 6 years, from whom I bought my foundation bitch, a daughter of the fantastic Ch Wicani Simon Templar from his last litter in the UK. I took her back to Wicani to be mated to Wicani Raising the Bar, son of one of the best males I’ve seen, Afterglow Invocation. I was lucky enough to get exactly what I hoped for from this combination, a fantastic blue bitch we named Vycaran La Ritournelle. She’s burst onto the scene with her now trademark panache, making us laugh every day and being a general joy to live with!
 

We occasionally have puppies available, breeding when we are looking for the next member of our own family.
