Dogs do not move from the front, they are (in car terms) rear wheel drive. The hock joint should be well let down giving a good turn of stifle, a tendency for straight 'tight' hock joints gives what to the untrained eye can be mistaken for 'rise over the loin' but in truth such dogs are what us old timers call 'bum high' ie:
