About Serenlas Collies
I am a small kennel in West Wales where my Collies are often seen running on the various beaches chasing seagulls, each other and enjoying life.
I love showing my dogs and have been reasonably successful. All my dogs love the show ring, the one to one attention and the grooming. As soon as the show bag comes out they are queuing to get to the car. My showing highlight to date was making up my first Champion Serenlas Obsession - Inca, at Crufts, a magical moment in anyone's show career.
I also judge Rough and Smooth collies. I feel this is important partly to give something back to the breed but also to help in better understanding the breed and breed standard. Everyone should educate themselves on any breed they are involved with.
Breeding for me is a huge responsibility and should never be taken lightly. There is so much that goes into producing good healthy sound puppies with excellent temperaments but I love it and feel passionate about it. Finding the right pairings is so important and takes a lot of planning and research but the joy you get back is phenomenal.

A beautiful shaded sable girl and what a character she is, as a puppy full of fun and very cheeky. Saffi took to the show ring with zealous. Often giving her own little performance or dance. Saffi won 'Our dog' Top puppy in breed 2022, runner up for the Rough Collie 'Ladypark Trophy' and runner up for 'Junior Rough Collie of the year' 2022. At 10 months Saffi won her first CC, quite an achievement. After maternal duties Saffi went back in to the ring very quickly winning her 2nd CC. Saffi is a joy to be around she has matured into a very beautiful, sensible girl who carries herself with dignity, always happy to be hanging around wherever I am. Saffi has produced two litters and I'm looking forward to continuing to campaign her, she is a delight to be out in the ring with.

Another beautiful shaded sable girl. When I looked for a mate for Saffi I was looking for something very specific in type, temperament and genetic diversity, I found it is Rush, Truly's sire, the product of two rough factered smooth collies.
Truly has a boldness that I love, she is the cheekiest girl with the sweetest nature and so much fun to be with. She has many traits that she has inherited from her grandfather physically and in temperament. She is my kangaroo, as rarely has 4 feet on the floor. She finds fun in everything I ask of her. Truly loves having fun doing agility with a friend; her excitement knows no bounds. Truly has recently been on maternal duties to a litter of 5 super puppies.
She will return to the show ring in the Autumn.

A beautiful tri girl. Willow is my daughter's girl but I love to show her, she really enjoys showing and has done very well even though we never actually trained her for the ring. She is a cheeky girl at home, enjoying long walks and often seen curled up with the cats.
